Market on Beckenham Green 26 May

At the Market on the Green on 26 May there will be a

“Novelty Dog Show”.

I think it’s the show that’s the novelty, not the dogs!
Why not take along your pooch?

The show lasts while the market is on – from midday to 4pm.

Beckenham Bunny Hunt Purple Flag success

Regular local supporters of the High Street were joined by crowds of new families getting into the Easter spirit on the Beckenham Bunny Hunt.

“A real family affair in Beckenham, bringing everyone together with fun and laughter”

Em of Em & Lou’s Kitchen.

“Great family day bringing the community together in Beckenham. Great to get Clock House Parade on the Beckenham map”

Jodie of Nellie’s Baby Boutique, Clock House.

The Beckenham Bunny Hunt organised by the Purple Flag team covered the entire length of the Beckenham Purple Flag area from Clock House to Beckenham Junction. Hundreds of children followed the route on purple maps, spotting purple bunnies at 25 locations to receive a chocolate egg in Burger & Bubbles at the end of the trail.

The Purple Flag Team thanks sponsors Burger & Bubbles, Cadbury’s, 1230TWC and GradFinale Yearbooks, and all the wonderful participating businesses who joined in so whole-heartedly along the route: Em & Lou’s Kitchen, Beckenham Bookshop, Deli Nene, Sapore Vero, Jumping Bean, Snappy Snaps, Proctors, Kelsey House, Flower Studio Beckenham, Techcheck, Village Bistro, Coughlins, Just William, Ollie and Dollie, Julienne Dance Shop, both Beckenham Pharmacies, Love A Slice, Deen’s Garage, Odeon, Beckenham Library, Beckenham Spa, Venue 28, Love My Hound, Nellie’s Baby Boutique.

Beckenham Bunny Hunt Saturday 24 March

Burger and Bubbles have joined with the Purple Flag team to organise a

Beckenham Bunny Hunt

the week before Easter.

Purple bunnies will be hopping onto shop windows from Clock House to Beckenham Green on Saturday afternoon 24 March.

On the day a purple bunny will go on the windows of the 24 participating locations between Clock House and Southend Road. People can join the trail at any point, and you can pick up a map with instructions where you see the Bunny.  Children get stickers from the shop where they spot a bunny, then take their stickered map to collect a little treat at the ‘end’ of the trail, Burger & Bubbles on Southend Road. You don’t have to find them all!

Or you can print your map at:
