Beckenham High Street Improvements Update

• Transport for London will commence the installation of new traffic signals at Thorntons Corner. Paving work will continue on the eastern corners of Thorntons Corner.
• The construction of the new planters on Beckenham Green and filling with soil will continue and resurfacing of the hard area will commence shortly.
• Completed Works
   Granite paving, kerbing and parking spaces have completed on the western side of Thorntons Corner.

The works outside the old Post Office is not connected to the TfL work but is emergency UK Power Networks replacing a link box that is overheating. Also, work further up the high street relates to a new gas main into a newly renovated shop.
