Beckenham’s Post Office at the war Memorial closed last week. WBRA along with CCARA and the Beckenham Business Association, in collaboration with the Communication Workers Union, tried very hard to stop this by collecting thousands of signatures on petitions, but to no avail.
The business is now franchised to W H Smith in the High Street.
Also closing is the sub Post Office on Croydon Road. This will now operate from Brandon’s a few doors down.
