Despite huge opposition from local people, The Post Office has taken the decision to close our post office at the War Memorial. It will close at 17:30 on 17 August 2016. The “new” franchise will open 9am on 18 August 2016.
WBRA along with CCARA and BBA collected several thousand signatures against closure. But these counted for nothing. We suspect that the “new” franchise will not be able to offer the space and ease of the old branch. We will monitor the service.
